E. Craig Lothian, Acting CEO & Executive Chair
Mr. Lothian has in excess of twenty years experience in the oil and natural gas industry. In addition to being the acting CEO & Executive Chair of V4, he is also the President & CEO of Keystone Royalty Corp., Lex Capital Management Inc. and Lex Capital Corp.
Mr. Lothian was the President and CEO of Villanova Energy Corp. until it was acquired by Crescent Point Energy Trust in January, 2009 ($130.1 Million), and has been the Executive Chair of each of Villanova Resources Inc. and Villanova Oil Corp.
Mr. Lothian was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Flatland Exploration Ltd. until it was acquired by Bulldog Energy Inc. in 2002 ($4.75 Million); Chief Executive Officer of Keystone Energy Inc. prior to it being acquired by StarPoint Energy Ltd. in 2004 ($22.9 Million); CEO of Keystone Energy Corp. prior to it being acquired by Bulldog Resources Inc. and TriStar Oil & Gas Ltd. in January 2007 ($34.0 Million). Craig was also the Chairman of Bulldog Energy Inc. prior to its acquisition by Crescent Point Energy Trust in 2005 ($118 Million) and was also the Chairman of the Board of Bulldog Resources Inc., before it was acquired by TriStar Oil & Gas Ltd. ($200 Million) in January 2008.
Mr. Lothian obtained his Bachelor of Arts (1986) and LL.B. (1988) from the University of Saskatchewan and rose to partnership of a Regina law firm prior to entering the energy business. He is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and also sits on the Board of Greystone Managed Investments Inc. and the Children's Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan. In addition, he is a Past President of The Assiniboia Club, The Hospitals of Regina Foundation and was one of the founding directors of Enterprise Saskatchewan.
Bryden Wright, VP Engineering
Mr. Wright joined the Keystone Group of Companies in 2007 with Villanova Energy Corp. as an engineering student, and subsequently completed three successful work terms. In 2010, after completing his Bachelor of Applied Science-Petroleum Systems Engineering degree from the University of Regina, Bryden played an important role in the successful disposition of Villanova Energy Corp. (2008), Villanova Resources Inc. (2010) and Villanova Oil Corp. (2013), and has had increased responsibilities during his tenure with the Keystone Group of Companies.
Mr. Wright currently holds his P. Eng designation and is registered with APEGS.
Simpson, Vice-President, Operations
Mr. Simpson joined the Keystone Group of Companies
in April, 2003. Derek has served as the Manager of Operations
for Keystone Energy Inc., Keystone Energy Corp., Villanova Energy
Corp., Villanova Resources Inc, and Villanova Oil Corp. He was an integral part of
their successful exploration efforts in southeast Saskatchewan.
Mr. Simpson worked for Simoil Resources for a number
of years prior to joining the Keystone Group and is also President
of Black Ridge Consulting & Oilfield Services Inc.
Lukomski, Vice-President Land
Mr. Lukomski joined the Keystone Group in January 2008, and was instrumental to the success of the disposition of Villanova Energy Corp. to Crescent Point Energy, the capitalization of Villanova Resources Inc. prior to its acquisition by Legacy Oil + Gas Inc., the disposition of Villanova Oil Corp. to Legacy Oil + Gas Inc. and the capitalization of Villanova 4 Oil Corp.
Prior to joining the Keystone Group, Jared was employed by Conexus Credit Union, (formerly Sherwood Credit Union) from 2000 to 2007. During his time with Conexus, he held various positions of increasing responsibility throughout Saskatchewan, while managing a book of business of $125 million in his role as a Commercial Account Manager.
Mr. Lukomski has been a key shareholder in numerous commercial real estate transactions throughout Saskatchewan and is President and CEO of Lukomski Capital Corp.
Benson, VP Finance
Mr. Benson joined the Keystone Group in June, 2009. His responsibilities include working capital management, financial reporting, budgeting and asset acquisition due diligence and valuation.
John received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria and holds the Chartered Business Valuator designation.
